Breastfeeding Medicine: Evidence and Clinical Practice 2021

Academy of Breastfeeding Medicine Australia/New Zealand Region.

The main conference will be held on the weekend of 20th and 21st February. The workshops will be run the previous weekend on Saturday 13th February (Breastfeeding Essentials for Medical Practitioners) and Sunday 14th February (Beyond the Essentials: Advanced Topics in Breastfeeding Medicine).

The adjusted format will contain both live streamed (then recorded) and pre-recorded on-demand content that will be available until the 31st May 2021. The live presentations will be condensed within fewer hours at a time of day appropriate for viewing over our Australia/New Zealand time zones. However, in addition to a full conference program, we are now able to offer bonus presentations, which can be accessed at any convenient time. These bonus presentations include sessions on providing lactation consults via telehealth and the impact of COVID-19 on breastfeeding women and clinicians from around the world. This has enhanced our program and we have evolved our offerings to address current issues affecting practitioners worldwide. We envision that there will still be opportunities to ask questions of our live speakers.

As a result of our workshops going online, attendees will now have the opportunity to attend both the Breastfeeding Essentials for Medical Practitioners and the Beyond the Essentials: Advanced Topics in Breastfeeding Medicine workshops as they will no longer be run concurrently (as was planned for the face-to-face meeting). We expect this will appeal to a number of attendees who would like to use the first workshop to reinforce their core knowledge and the second workshop to extend their skills.

Kosten: tussen de $270 & $740
